About Facti AI
Facti AI is an AI product studio based in Colorado Springs. We build software for the moment we're living in — a moment when artificial intelligence is rewriting what's possible, and also what's verifiable. Our work sits squarely on that line.
We move quickly, but we don't move carelessly. We're optimistic about what AI can do, and honest about what it can't. The future of intelligent software belongs to teams that build with both ambition and care, and that's the kind of team we're becoming.
What we believe
A new kind of trust problem is emerging.
AI can now generate text, faces, voices, and identities convincing enough to fool people who'd normally know better. The tools we use to communicate, to verify, to create — every one of them is being reshaped by it.
That's the problem we work on.
We believe the most valuable software in the next decade will be the kind that helps humans stay in the loop. Tools that make individuals sharper. Tools that make organizations safer. Tools that keep the line between real and synthetic legible to anyone who needs to see it.

The founder
Facti AI was founded by Luis Oliveira, who's been working in technology since 1998.
Over nearly three decades, Luis has led engineering teams across three continents and founded several technology startups. Some succeeded. Others didn't. What never wavered was his willingness to start again — sharper, more focused, more honest about what works.
He's also a lifelong writer and co-author of a book on performance — a discipline that shapes how he builds products, not only how he writes about them.
If you're early in your career in technology and reading this: keep building. The people who go furthest aren't the ones who never failed. They're the ones who refused to let any failure be the final word.
That, more than anything, is the spirit Facti AI is built on.
What we build
Three products. One thesis.
Psitta is where writing meets AI without losing its soul. It's a creative AI workspace for authors, editors, and publishers — pairing audio playback with a curated template space where writers and AI work together to spark, structure, and sharpen their work.
KYCShield is the defense line for a new fraud era — protecting identity verification from the wave of AI-generated faces, IDs, and personas that are slipping past traditional KYC checks.
Trusi — in development — puts media verification in everyone's pocket. A mobile app that spots deepfakes, exposes fake news, and traces any piece of media to its source — because in the AI era, the power to verify shouldn't belong only to enterprises.
Different audiences, different surfaces, same belief: in an AI-saturated world, the most valuable software is the kind that helps humans tell what's real.
